These lights from Auvon (Amazon.com link) are great for temporary or long-term use. On a recent family trip to Germany, we used these lights in the hallway and in the bathroom at night to light the way. Especially if you are changing hotels or other accommodations frequently, having light help remind you where to go is not only helpful but also reduces risk of a fall. These are also a great option to use when you have friends or family visiting. Keeping a light near the stairs or in the bathroom will be appreciated! I also mention this light in the post: How to “Fall Proof” your Hotel Room.

For the devoted Apple electronic user in your life, check out this 3-in-1 charger. (Amazon.com link). I found this courtesy of Oprah’s Favorite Things for 2025. This device folds up to the size of an apple and includes a USB-C cable. It will charge an iPhone, Apple watch and AirPods all at once with only one cord required. Check compatibility requirements prior to purchasing.

Help someone protect their passport and travel documents from being damaged while traveling with this passport holder. This is leather and offers RFID protection. It can also be a stress-reducer as this holder also has space for an Apple AirTag. I was going to recommend a different brand until I saw the AirTag feature! This can also be used as a wallet.

If you have a friend or loved-one who complains all the standing required while traveling or wishes they could have a cane that provides a seat, these fold-up tripod canes (Amazon.com link) could be a great option! Last on the list of travel-inspired gifts is a collapsable water bottle. Staying hydrated while traveling is important. We tend to drink less water on long flights, time change can alter your eating and drinking patterns, and we tend to move more while traveling. Especially if you’re traveling somewhere warm, keeping water with you is essential. While I do like my insulated water bottle the best, collapsable water bottles are much more travel-friendly. My two favorite brands are Vapur (link to their 0.5L bottle) and Platypus (link to REI.com for 34oz bottle). No leaks and they store flat when empty. I do also own a collapsable 17oz bottle from Hydaway as I wanted a smaller option but it started leaking in my bag when on it’s side after a couple trips.

I hope this helps you with your future gifting! Do you have other favorite travel gifts? Let me know at [email protected]
