About Have Age Will Travel

Thank you for stopping by! Your mobility will change as you age and will impact how you travel. It does not mean you have to stop adventuring. As a physical therapist by day…a blogger by night…and an avid traveler, my goal is for you to continue traveling until you have seen it all! The information on this site is focused on helping you make the best travel decisions based on your own physical abilities. The blog covers mobility considerations for different types of travel, transportation considerations, how to improve your mobility, and helpful gear to bring with you. I also cover physical requirements of visiting different European cities in the blog’s Location Guides.

I am not here to convince you to travel a certain way or with any specific company. My aim is to provide you with information and considerations so that you can make the best decisions for you, leading to successful travel experiences! You know your body, your abilities, and your motivations to travel better than anyone else. These decisions are ultimately up to you! Even though I am a physical therapist, I am not your physical therapist. This website is informational only. Please consult your medical provider with any questions or concerns you may have about your health.

I am a practicing orthopedic physical therapist in the United States. When not treating patients, I am very likely either traveling or planning my next trip. I answer questions daily from patients regarding travel and their mobility. Despite many people being able to travel later into their lives and many people traveling more frequently, there is very little information out there about travel and mobility changes. These reasons are why I created this blog. I truly hope it is helpful for you to take the trips you want to take! Do you have questions or want to see more or less of something on this blog?
